On October 4, 2007 Lionheart will present medieval, Renaissance and excerpts from works written for them by Phil Kline and Marc-André Dalbavie as part of GEMS' "Early Music / Early Season" concerts.
GOTHAM EARLY MUSIC SCENE (GEMS) is a new organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of early music in New York City. GEMS is presenting a series of three concerts showcasing twelve of New York's finest ensembles at New York City's newest concert hall-- the Times Center, designed by Renzo Piano. These concerts are part of the second New York Early Music Celebration, supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
