Richard Porterfield teaches at Mannes and Hunter colleges while pursuing a doctorate in Music Theory at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. A founding member of Lionheart, he has sung with Voices of Ascension, Pomerium, the Gregg Smith Singers, and in many, many houses of worship. A graduate of Mannes and of Yale, he has worked as a music director, organist, composer, playwright, director, actor, performance artist, street busker, and office temp. |
